Invisalign

Imagine a braces treatment that doesn't use wires or metal brackets, a treatment that is virtually pain free and doesn't require you to change your current lifestyle. With Invisalign, you can straighten your teeth and experience the benefits of a great smile without having to deal with a mouth full of metal! Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable, comfortable aligners that straighten teeth in less time than traditional braces.

BioQuick®

Do you need braces, but don't like the idea of having huge metal brackets and wires on your teeth for such a long time? With BioQuick braces you now have an alternative to those traditional metal braces you're dreading! Bio-Quick braces are a new, technologically advanced system that gives you a straight, healthy smile faster, and with fewer office visits.  Quick Clear braces are smaller and provide greater comfort, using less force than with other braces.

Quick Clear®

Orthodontic treatment no longer means having a mouth full of unsightly metal wires and brackets. Quick Clear self-ligating braces are an aesthetic alternative to traditional metal braces. Quick Clear braces are clear, small in size, and customized to fit your teeth and mouth. These braces are safe and effective, and are a great option for patients of all ages.

Carriere Motion™

The Carriere Distalizer is a passive appliance that attaches only to the canine and first permanent molar. This appliance provides a non-extraction method to correct Class II maloclusions.

A Lingual Arch or Essix retainer is used as anchorage for the Carriere Distalizer. Class II elastics are worn to activate this appliance.  Dr. To typically uses the Carriere Motion at the beginning of Orthodontic treatment. Once the class II correction is achieved, treatment can then be continued with use of traditional braces or clear removable appliance therapy (such as Invisalign).

Propel®

PROPEL “fast tracks” orthodontic treatments for both braces and clear aligners. This exciting technology allows us to get most patients finished in about half the time. While each patient varies, many patients can now have their orthodontic treatment completed in less than a year.

PROPEL® works with the patient’s own biology by stimulating the bone surrounding the teeth; helping the teeth to move faster and more predictably into their ideal position. This allows patients to see their new smiles faster and requires fewer visits to our office.

We provide PROPEL for Invisalign and braces, offering complimentary consultations to all. If you would like to accelerate your orthodontic treatment today, ask us about PROPEL!

Dentofacial Orthopedics

What is dentofacial orthopedics? Many patients wonder what it means when their orthodontist specializes in dentofacial orthopedics. This specialization means that your doctor has training and experience in working with the management of tooth movement (orthodontics) as well as the guidance of facial growth and development (dentofacial orthopedics), which usually occurs during childhood.

Sleep Apnea

Do you get drowsy easily without any explanation? Have you started snoring loudly or waking up breathless in the middle of the night for no reason? If you have any of these symptoms, you may have a condition known as sleep apnea. Sleep apnea affects millions of Americans and can be a serious condition. Sleep apnea can be controlled by working with a sleep specialist who can prescribe safe and effective treatments.

TMJ/TMD Treatments

What is TMJ/TMD and why does it matter to you? Temporomandibular Disorder is a condition where the joints in your jaw become sore and movement is restricted. Millions of Americans suffer from chronic face and neck pains as well as recurring headaches. These can all be signs of a TMD/TMJ condition that may require treatment.

Surgical Orthodontics

Orthodontics is designed to reposition and straighten teeth, but surgical orthodontics may be needed in some cases to correct more severe jaw irregularities. Surgical orthodontics is used to straighten the jaw into alignment, often improving a patient's ability to chew, speak, and breathe. Braces are often worn in conjunction with orthodontic surgery to make sure the teeth stay in the proper position as well.
